1. About TestPlain

TestPlain is a clinical support tool developed by Aryash Health to help GP practices generate patient-friendly explanations of blood test results. The service is designed for use by authorised healthcare professionals within UK general practice settings.

2. Who Can Use This Service

TestPlain is intended for:

• Registered GP practices in the United Kingdom
• Practice staff authorised to handle patient communications
• GPs and clinicians registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)

By creating an account, you confirm you are authorised by your practice to use this service.

3. Clinical Responsibility

Important: TestPlain generates template-based patient education content. It does not provide clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

• All content must be reviewed and approved by a qualified GP before being sent to patients
• The reviewing GP retains full clinical responsibility for approved content
• TestPlain content is educational only and should not replace clinical consultation
• Users must verify all data entry is accurate before submission

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use TestPlain only for its intended purpose within your practice
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them
• Enter accurate information and verify entries using the double-entry system
• Follow the GP approval workflow for all patient communications
• Report any errors or concerns promptly to your practice manager

5. Data and Privacy

TestPlain is designed with data minimisation principles. We collect only first name, age, and test values — no NHS numbers, surnames, or contact details. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access. Critical patient communications should always have backup processes in place.

7. Limitation of Liability

TestPlain is provided as a support tool. Aryash Health is not liable for clinical decisions made using this service. The reviewing GP and their practice retain responsibility for patient care and communications. We maintain clinical governance documentation and safety controls as detailed on our Governance page.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in regulations or service features. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
